Neuroendocrine cancers (NETs) affect approximately 225,000 people in the United States. They are frequently misdiagnosed or go undetected for years, making treatment more difficult and outcomes more uncertain. There are currently very few treatment options available, and research into NETs remains significantly underfunded.

That’s why we’ve partnered with the Neuroendocrine Tumor Research Foundation (NETRF)—the leading global organization dedicated to funding research, improving diagnostics, and advancing treatment for neuroendocrine cancer. Since 2005, NETRF has invested over $37 million in cutting-edge research and has supported more than 80 scientists in 17 countries around the world.

Their work includes:

  • Identifying the molecular drivers of NETs to find new treatment targets

  • Discovering biomarkers to guide diagnosis and therapy

  • Creating models to test innovative treatment strategies

  • Building a global network of researchers dedicated to fighting NETs

  • Supporting patients, families, and caregivers with trusted resources and education

To help support this vital mission and honor Frank’s memory, we launched the Frank DeBenedetto Memorial Golf Outing—an annual event to raise funds and awareness for NETRF. All proceeds go directly to advancing research and improving the lives of those affected by neuroendocrine cancer.
